Christmas Outfits
The selection of proper clothing for your portraits is a critical factor in the preparation for a successful session.
Please refer to the recommendations listed below.
Wear darker tones to complement the mood
Choosing Formal or semi-formal clothing will give you a refined look, but feel free to express your personal style.
On a Brightness scale if we rate black as 10 and white as 1 , go for clothes with brightness levels of 6, 7, 8, or 9.
Opt for solid colors as they work best. pick from the colors in the pictures as they make your skin tones look good and complement the overall mood & set.
Ensure your clothing combinations look good together. Limit your color choices to 2-3 [ from the color swatch ]
All the outfits should go well together (but they don't have to match).
Avoid loud busy patterns and if incase you want a pattern, go for Christmas/Seasonal checks in flannel.
Prints and Logos are a definite NO.
No Shoes is best, but its your choice if you want to wear
Avoid Sneakers, Sports, shoes, Instead think Boots, Leathers, Classic formal wear.
Make sure your outfits are suitable for the Occasion and complement the Set & Mood
Keep the Hair and Makeup clean and simple.
TIP : To make sure all of your outfits go well, try laying out everyone’s selected outfits together [including shoes if possible ] and see if the colors are complementing.
Start with one outfit and let everyone else complement that.
